Sage Software Enhances Sage MIP Fund Accounting with Customizable Sage Information Center

AUSTIN, Texas - November 16, 2005 - Sage Software announced today that its Sage MIP Fund Accounting solutions for nonprofit and government organizations have been enhanced with Sage Information Center, a component of the company’s Sage Desktop. Information Center is a dynamically updated source of relevant product information, tips, announcements, training information, including access to Sage Software’s regional training calendar, and customer feedback links.

“Information Center gives Sage MIP Fund Accounting users a more superior user experience,” said Marc Griffin, senior vice president and general manager for Nonprofit Solutions at Sage Software. “Customers benefit from having instant and convenient access to up-to-date product and work-related information about available downloads, promotions and other dynamically updated information.”

Information Center is installed automatically with Sage MIP Fund Accounting 7.1, and is divided into several sections: News & Announcements, Tips & Techniques, Training & Support Info, Alerts & Notifications, and Comments & Feedback.

Information Center is a component of Sage Desktop, a common resource center being deployed across Sage Software products. Sage Desktop has already been deployed for the company’s Sage Accpac and Sage Timberline Office product lines. Future versions of Sage MIP Fund Accounting will be updated with the full Sage Desktop to provide users with quick access to all the applications, information, and tasks they need for their unique roles and work processes, and fulfill Sage Software’s commitment to provide a common user experience across the Sage Suites, industry-specific, integrated end-to-end business management solutions.

Easy to set up, customize and navigate, the Sage Desktop environment will provide Sage MIP Fund Accounting customers with a common launch point for all Sage Software solutions, easy access to important support and product information, and quick access to other applications, tasks and Web sites on the customizable Information Center.
